Not only that, it reduces oil and shine without clogging any pores. Acnecide Medicinal Face Gel Spot Treatment – our superstar face gel product containing benzoyl peroxide which is clinically proven to kill up to 95% of spot-causing bacteria. In addition, it contains microsphere technology which helps absorb excess oil while releasing glycerine to hydrate the skin. How to use? Simply apply this to the affected areas on your face after washing and leave the treatment on overnight. Be careful because benzoyl peroxide can discolour bed linen, just like bleach does. So, keep it away from hair, clothes and use white bed linen and towels if you can. Start using the gel once every other day, then every day and build up to apply every morning and evening. Acnecide Daily Moisturiser SPF30 – a cosmetic, lightweight moisturiser specifically developed for sensitive spot prone skin. It reduces skin roughness and dryness, does not clog pores and provides 24 hour hydration and broad spectrum protection from damaging UVA and UVB rays. The treatment takes around 4 weeks to know if it’s working for you as your skin needs to build up tolerance to benzoyl peroxide. Spoiler alert: it’s very easy to use, but it’s still a medicine, so you need to be careful. We understand some Acnecide users are so keen to start their acne treatment to unlock their skin’s potential that they forget to read the label and leaflet. However, it’s important that you always read the label to understand the product to use it safely. If you’re having problems, have another read to the Patient information leaflet. Important information Acnecide Face Gel 15g is indicated for the treatment of mild acne. Use if you’re over 12 years old. Do not use Acnecide Face Wash and Acnecide Face Gel together. Do not use this product with any other benzoyl peroxide preparation and always read the label. A GP can diagnose acne. If in doubt, contact your GP or see a dermatologist. Mild acne is generally categorised as having whiteheads and blackheads, with a few or no spots and pimples and no inflamed spots. Do not use Acnecide Face Gel 5% if you: Have moderate acne with some inflamed red spots or pimples to severe acne, with large bumps, many inflamed spots or previous scarring from acne of the face. Have acne on other parts of your body such as shoulders, back or chest. Have an allergy to any of the ingredients displayed on this pack.
