About The Designer: A Jewel is the personal brand of award-winning jewellery designer Akvile Cenkyte, who handcrafts striking contemporary pieces from her studio in London’s Hatton Garden. Using traditional fine jewellery making techniques, Akvile designs and develops distinctive precious metal jewellery inspired by industrialism, city life, urban movements, and music. Her work saw her awarded a Gold at the prestigious annual UK Goldsmith’s Design and Craft Council Competition in 2017.
